How large is the barn - How many people does it hold?

The barn is a two-story bank style barn that can seat between 100 and 300 individuals.  Larger groups may be accommodated -- call or email for additional information. (724)368-3233

Can we rent the barn for a winter wedding?

The barn is only available from May through August.

Is there a caterer at the barn?

Yes, we offer full service catering and will work with you to develop a menu that best fits your guests and budget needs.  For more information see our "Catering" page.

Do I have to rent tables and chairs?

The barn rental includes either 60" round or 8' banquet tables.  Metal folding chairs are also included.

Is the barn air-conditioned?

Because of its design, the barn offers natural cross-venting.

Can I do my own decorating?

Yes, but with a few restrictions:

  • management must approve all items
  • no staples, nails, tacks or strong tape can be used - jute twine is recommended
  • all decorations must be taken down prior to midnight
  • no silk or artificial flower petals may be used outdoors
  • no natural petals may be used indoors
  • no rice, confetti, or birdseed should be throw - bubbles are recommended

Does the barn have a dance floor?

Yes, there is a 20' x 40' hardwood dance floor.

Is alcohol permitted?

Yes, However we strongly recommend that you acquire host liquor liability coverage from an insurance company.

Can the barn be used after midnight?

The facility is rented in fourteen hour increments starting at 9:00 a.m. and must end by 11:00 p.m. The barn must be cleared and locked by midnight. Access for rehearsals and to review setup plans is permitted on a scheduled bases only.

Can our wedding ceremony take place at the barn?

Yes, there are several areas that have been used for ceremonies -- In our gazebo, under a large oak tree, inside the barn, etc...

Breakneck Lodge

Breakneck Lodge offers a peaceful and relaxing setting to visit with family and friends or discuss your organizations business goals. The 1,500 square foot post and beam lodge has a 28' x 16' covered deck, large hammer-beam entry, electricity, heat, and restrooms.

Cheeseman Fright Farm

For over a decade, Cheeseman Fright Farm has been bringing haunting entertainment during the Halloween season.

Cheeseman Pumpkin Festival

September through October - spend a day in the country. Cheeseman Pumpkin Festival features Hayrides, Farm Animals and a Hay Maze.
