A: Betsy's Barn at Cheeseman Farm is available for weddings and other events from May through August, as the venue is not heated and thus best suited for warmer months. From September through October, the farm hosts Cheeseman Fright Farm, a seasonal attraction, which makes Betsys Barn unavailable during that period. Clients planning events should schedule within the May to August window to ensure comfort and venue availability.

However, the venue is designed with effective cross ventilation and is equipped with multiple fans to maintain airflow and ensure a comfortable environment for guests during events. This natural ventilation system helps regulate temperature while preserving the authentic barn atmosphere that many clients appreciate for weddings and gatherings. Fans are also available.

A: At Cheeseman Farm, we welcome personalized centerpieces as an essential part of your event décor, provided they adhere to our specific guidelines to ensure safety and preserve the venue’s rustic charm. Centerpieces must be free-standing without any sharp or adhesive materials that could damage tables. Open flames, including candles, are prohibited; however, battery-operated LED lights are permitted for ambiance. Additionally, we ask that all centerpieces be taken at the end of your event. By following these rules, you can enhance the natural beauty of Cheeseman Farm while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all guests. No staples, nails or duct tape!
